Every licensed truck must complete the International Fuel Taxes forms and IFTA software makes these forms easy to complete while drivers are on the road. These specialized forms are due in the state where the truck is registered every 3 months. In reporting, truck drivers must break down how many miles they drove in a state, and how many gallons of fuel they purchased in a state for every state driven through in the time period. Traditionally, this was done by hand. Software makes it much easier to complete forms quickly and accurately, leaving drivers with more time for other duties.
