Mercury Build It
Starting its life as a family-run fish and chips shop on Goods Road in Brakpan, the Mercury brand has evolved greatly. It has gone from small-time fast food place in 1964, to general store in 1984, to specialist cycling and hardware shop in 1989, all the way to becoming the hardware powerhouse of Johannesburg’s East Rand that it is today.
