We are a dedicated family who are concentrating our efforts on rearing and growing  free range products. We aim to provide good wholesome food at a reasonable price.

We first started back in 2003 providing free range eggs, fresh chickens, pork, chutneys ,jams and vegetables for ourselves.Over the last 12 months ,as we have been talking to people, more and more individuals have been asking us to provide them with fresh eggs pork ,and vegetables. So we have decided to increase our efforts so that we can provide produce for others as well as ourselves. In this day and age of more and more chemicals, colourings,additives being put in or on our foods then its becoming more important to watch what we eat.                                                    

Our animals are slowly matured to an older age than those which are intensively  mass grown in fattening sheds.Ours are allowed to graze on grass and feel the sun on their backs.

                                   We don't add weed killers or chemicals to our land just use good old fashioned hard work to ensure that we produce good quality chemical free food. As we know that our animal waste is free of chemicals we add this to the land which makes an ideal fertiliser.

Our family has been making chutneys and relishes for many years now, only selling to our friends and family ,very successfully . So we have decided to turn our hobby into a business venture.We operate from our smallholding in Cumbria and have a full hands on approach to the business. This enables us to keep total control over the quality of our products, where the raw materials come from and what is added to the final product.We produce good quality home made chutneys and relishes. Only the best ingredients are used and many come from our own gardens. We also strive to only use locally sourced organically grown fruit and vegetables. All our products are made in small batches so they are fresh and wholesome when they arrive at your door.We don't mince or blend our products which turns them into a form of paste. When you open one of our jars you can see the items that have been used to make your chutney, which in some of them gives you the mouth watering ,different textures and flavours of you chutney/relish.We do not use artifficial colours or preservitives
