 With a vision of Latex Couture, like no other, Elisabeth Poppe saw her future within the latex market place and set out on a new career path in 1996. A self taught couturier, using colour, cut, style, music and words, her life experience and personal love for textiles, fashion and sensuality, provided the ingredients and inspiring individuality that created the designed concept for the style and founding of, Rubber Zoo. Latex couture has never been the same since. Designing and styling Latex, for the forward thinking, action orientated, genuinely respectful and acutely aware lifestyle conscious, fit and healthy, very sexy go-getter, much like herself, in vibrant, colourful, designs, fitting within any social setting, has been our way from the outset.Due to the nature of our business and the fashion fetish industries, we entered into a world of foreign territory in almost every way. Confronting many belief systems of both the personal and professional nature, our business came up against many unforeseen and obtrusive obstacles and hurdles. Challenging many belief systems within both in the underground fetish scene and mainstream fashion world, Rubber Zoo paved a way through all sectors of society, crossing borders and boundaries, leaving our impression of 21st Century latex couture in the minds of party goers, corporate business, gay, fetish, straight scenes and the fetish and fashion industries. We, with a few others, set in motion a wave of change bringing the idea that  it is indeed a good thing to explore ones own sexual expression, and hopefully not to judge another for their ways.Rubber Zoo has maintained from the outset, we are we are offering our clients a Personally Unique Luxurious Experience, the kind that only latex can induce. In doing so, we bring forth, clothing and accessories collections, to adorn fitting within any social setting of choice, through an Off the Peg and Bespoke service.
