The core business at Sirensound Digital has changed due to policy changes at the British Library. Since this came about the studio has been modified to perform hi-end mastering and recording, as well as an advanced vinyl transfer system for broadcast quality copies. The studio is set outside the town wall of Cirencester in a converted cellar. The rooms overlook a beautiful private garden with outdoor furniture in the Summer. Rates are negotiable for longer projects. The core equipment is chosen for it's accurate sound and professional reliability. All recording chains can be automated without having to resort to a computer for 24 track digital recording using the Sony PCM 3324 recorder, DMX R100 mixer and SUI 100 interface. Other machines are available for archival work from ADAT tape and 8mm digital tape (both 8 track). Mastering is to the Sony 1630 system using DMR 4000 and 2000, SDP 1000, , the Sony 3000 editor and source players include Sony 3100 Sony 7040 Sony APR 5003 Sony CDP D500 utilizing dCS analogue to digital converters, Studer MicValve preamps, CEDAR restoration, Philips 5022 and Millennia Media analogue equalizers.
