Southwest Airlines Baggage Policy International
Southwest Airlines’ baggage policy for international flights allows each passenger to check two bags for free, provided they meet the size and weight limits. Each checked bag must not exceed 50 pounds in weight and 62 inches in overall dimensions (length + width + height). Overweight bags between 51-100 pounds and oversized bags larger than 62 inches incur additional fees. Bags over 100 pounds or larger than 80 inches are not accepted. Carry-on items follow the same guidelines as domestic flights, allowing one carry-on bag and one personal item, such as a purse or laptop bag, free of charge. Special items, like sports equipment and musical instruments, may have specific requirements or fees.
